I've initially had a plan to hunt for carefully selected bargains of lightest components I could get, but ease of servicing and local availability prevailed, therefore I got a complete Shimano Ultegra 6700 groupset instead.

Shimano Ultegra 6700 chainset - 801 grams with bottom bracket, 700 without. The main alternative choice was KCNC RD2 chainset, weighing only about 656 g including bottom bracket, but some bad reports put me off of purchasing it.

Shimano Ultegra 6700 SPD-SL pedals - 317 g. My first choice would have been Ultegra 6700C carbon pedal set, for less weight and better spindles, but I got these with the groupset.

PRO RS-11 headset bearings coupled with PRO carbon expander - reasonably light at only 100 g. It weighs the same with the regular star nut as well.

Shimano Ultegra 6700 tubeless and clincher compatible wheels. Nice quality and reasonably light at 1676 g (without skewers, with tubeless valves). I was originally after the 160 grams lighter Shimano RS80 carbon-laminate wheels, but I suppose these Ultegra wheels will serve its purpose for the time being.
